"Weekend" is a 1978 musical composition produced by Patrick Adams and written by James Calloway and Leroy Burgess. Lead vocals were by Christine Wiltshire, then wife of Patrick Adams. It was released as a single and as a track on the album Patrick Adams Presents Phreek.

The composition was covered in 1981 by Class Action on Sleeping Bag Records's first single (with mixes by Morales and Munzibai and Larry Levan, and reworked for many Todd Terry tracks starting with the 1988 [1] on Fresh Records.
