Veneres et Priapi, uti observantur in gemmis antiquis[1] (English: Venus and Priapus, as observed in the ancient gems) is a book by Pierre-François Hugues d'Hancarville , first published in 1771. It was the first book to illustrate The Satyr and the Goat[2].
