"Memories"[1] is a song written by Hugh Hopper (Soft Machine) first recorded by Robert Wyatt as the b-side of the single "I'm a Believer" in 1974. It was later covered by Bill Laswell's project Material on their 1982 album One Down. "Memories"[2] was one of Whitney Houston's first recordings as a featured vocalist.
