Los Chinchillas (Eng: The Chinchillas)[1] is № 50 of the Caprichos by Francisco Goya.
The 'chinchillas' from the title are protagonists of the comedy El dómine Lucas by José de Cañizares.
In his book Gothic, Richard Davenport-Hines speculates that the now-iconic flat-headed look of Frankenstein's monster made famous by Boris Karloff and Jack Pierce in films is based on this Francisco Goya etching, especially the seated/reclining figure.
