Philia (φιλία), often translated "brotherly love", is one of the four ancient Greek words for love.

Outside of Greek history, it refers to a specific liking or a psychological disorder characterized by an irrational favorable disposition towards something.

Philia in Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics is usually translated as affectionate regard or "friendship".
